MASN, the Official Regional Sports Network of Georgetown Basketball, has announced today its 2007-2008 college basketball schedule featuring nine live Georgetown games. The first game will feature the Hoyas as they take on Old Dominion live on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. from the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, VA.

Led by Coach John Thompson III, the Hoyas follow a phenomenal 2007 season which included a NCAA Final Four appearance, the Big East Championship and a 30-7 overall record.

“We’re fortunate to have a strong broadcast relationship with MASN,” said Georgetown Athletic Director, Bernard Muir. “They are a tremendous partner and have been a great outlet in bringing Georgetown basketball to millions of fans.”

MASN, the Mid-Atlantic leader in live sports coverage, with more than 520 professional and NCAA events annually, is televising its second year of Georgetown basketball.

“The Hoyas had another remarkable season last year, and this year looks to be even better. MASN is excited to televise Georgetown basketball throughout our seven-state region and to allow students, alumni and sports fans to watch another big season of Hoyas basketball,” said MASN spokesman, Todd Webster.

Throughout the season, Georgetown will compete against a number of local and Big East programs on MASN including Old Dominion, Radford, American, Rutgers, Notre Dame, St. John’s, Seton Hall, South Florida and Cincinnati.

The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network is the region’s only locally-owned regional sports network and is the television home of the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals. Because of its hometown ownership, MASN is committed to the community and brings home the best in local sports programming throughout the year.

MASN is also home to the Big East Game of the Week in both football and basketball and televises more than 200 NCAA football, basketball and lacrosse games each year. Additionally, MASN will televise the 13th annual BB&T Classic in December.
