Louisville Visits Rutgers on MASN
Scarlet Knights host Cardinals in Big East contest live on MASN at Noon
Rutgers, under the leadership of second-year head coach Fred Hill, returns to the friendly confines of the RAC to host Louisville in a 12 noon tip-off on Sunday on MASN.
The Scarlet Knights will be looking to snap a three game skid and earn their first BIG EAST win of the season. The Cardinals, who are receiving votes in the AP poll, have won six of their last seven contests and will be seeking a 2-1 mark in league play.

Sunday afternoon's contest marks the sixth meeting between Rutgers and Louisville on the hardwood dating back to 1975, with the Cardinals holding a 4-1 advantage in victories.
The Scarlet Knights won the last meeting by a 65-56 score on January 28, 2006 in the only series match-up at the RAC. It marked RU's last win over a ranked opponent, as UL entered the game No. 22 nationally. Current Sacramento Kings guard Quincy Douby scored a game-high 19 points to fuel the win, while then freshman JR Inman (Pomona, N.Y.) added 13.
Rutgers (8-8, 0-3) is coming off a 76-50 loss at Providence this past Wednesday evening. Inman scored 11 points and Anthony Farmer (Millville, N.J.) tallied 10, but it was not enough to overcome a poor second half shooting performance.
The Scarlet Knights made 50 percent (12-24) of their first half shots, including four of eight from behind the arc, to enter the locker room at the midpoint trailing by one, 35-34. After the break, 12 of RU's points came from the charity stripe.
Inman, who is among the BIG EAST leaders in four categories, ranks 78th nationally in rebounds (8.3), while sophomore center Hamady Ndiaye (Dakar, Senegal) ranks ninth nationally with 3.4 blocks per contest.
Louisville (11-4, 1-1) is fresh from a 63-54 home win over West Virginia Thursday evening. Three Cardinals scored in double figures, including Earl Clark, who posted 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds off the bench in 26 minutes of action.
Clark paces the team in rebounding, averaging 10.1 boards per contest to rank 15th nationally. Terrance Williams (11.9) leads five players who average double figures in the scoring column for UL.
The Cardinals are ranked 22nd nationally in scoring defense (59.6) and 16th in field goal percentage defense (37.7).
