For Sunday night opener, special Nats Xtra pre and post game show live from stadium
MASN will help inaugurate Nationals Park by televising the first Nationals game to be played at the new stadium, when the Baltimore Orioles visit for both teams' final exhibition game leading up to the 2008 season.

MASN returns its veteran Nationals talent team to the booth for 2008. In his third season, Bob Carpenter will be the play-by-play announcer, Hall of Fame pitcher Don Sutton will provide color analysis, and sideline reporter Debbi Taylor will bring perspective from the field.
On Sunday night, for the Nationals' opening night contest, MASN will televise a special one-hour edition of Nats Xtra, the exclusive Nationals pre-game show, starting at 7:00 p.m. After the nationally-televised game between the Nationals and Atlanta Braves, MASN will televise a half-hour Nats Xtra post-game show. The show will air live from outside the brand new stadium and feature MASN's all-star talent team.
"Voice of the Terps" Johnny Holliday and 1986 World Series MVP Ray Knight return as the co-hosts of Nats Xtra all season long.
"MASN will allow fans to be there for the first look at the Nationals in their new state of the art stadium," said MASN spokesman Todd Webster. "Fans can look forward to enjoying games at the new ballpark and watching the Nationals play in high definition on MASN throughout the season."
With every available Nationals game throughout the season, pre and post game shows before and after every game, forty games in high definition and one of the best talent teams in all of baseball, MASN is the television home of the Washington Nationals.
