MASN to Televise Orioles FanFest 2008


Coverage provides Maximum Access for fans

Live from Camden Yards on Saturday, March 29

MASN to televise first MLB game from new Nats stadium at 6:00 p.m.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - MASN, the official network of the Baltimore Orioles, will televise the team's annual Orioles FanFest on Saturday, March 29. MASN will provide maximum access to fans throughout the region with highlights and interviews from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. live from at Camden Yards.

The FanFest celebration begins at 9:45 am with Andy MacPhail's and Dave Trembley's State of the Orioles address to season plan holders. Oriole Park opens to fans at 10:30 am. Be there with MASN throughout the day as fans will be treated to autograph and question and answer sessions with current and former players and coaches. There will also be fan forums, an open work-out and activities for children.

MASN's Amber Theoharis, Jim Hunter, Rick Dempsey and Buck Martinez will be at Oriole Park, interviewing players and coaches about the upcoming season. They will be joined by Orioles radio announcers Joe Angel and Fred Manfra. The full squad work out, batting practice and exclusive MASN interviews will be broadcast throughout the park.

Coverage wraps up at 3:00 pm as fans send off the Orioles to take on the Washington Nationals in the first MLB game at the new Nationals Park in Washington D.C. at 6:00 pm. MASN's special FanFest coverage will be rebroadcast at 4:00 pm prior to the Orioles' and Nationals' final exhibition game, also televised on MASN.

With every available Orioles game throughout the season, pre and post game shows before and after every game, forty games in high definition and one of the best talent teams in all of baseball, MASN is the television home of the Baltimore Orioles.
