Nats News: Cordero put on 15-day DL
With tendinitis in his right shoulder, the Nationals put their closer on the DL, retroactive to March 27th, and recalled LHP John Lannan, who will pitch tomorrow vs. the Cardinals in the series finale.

Cordero, who thought his shoulder was getting better, will throw a bullpen session Saturday and most likely will be activated on April 11th.
Lannan, the Nationals minor league pitcher of the year in 2007, was the best pitcher in Spring Training. In 5 games he was 2-0 with a 2.18 ERA.
The team needed a fifth starter because they didn't want Tim Redding or Jason Bergmann pitching on short rest.
Jon Rauch will remian the closer until Cordero returns.
