MASN to Launch "Maximum Doer Dew Tour Challenge"
MASN, the local leader in live sports entertainment, has joined with the AST Dew Tour to sponsor a contest recognizing outstanding achievements in community service.
Interested contestants will submit short video clips or a combination of photos and an essay that document and describe how they serve their community, neighbors and environment.
The contest runs from Monday, May 19, 2008 through Monday, June 9, 2008, with one winner being chosen each week. The three winners and their acts of kindness will be featured in commercials on MASN between June 10 and June 19.
"This is one small way to recognize and reward those individuals who make a real difference in our communities," said MASN spokesman Todd Webster.
Each winner will receive a Mongoose bicycle, an autographed skate deck, four Action Zone tickets to the Dew Tour and meet and greet passes for the Good Charlotte concert on June 20, 2008 at Camden Yards Sports Complex.
The AST Dew Tour is returning to Baltimore for the second straight year from June 19-22, the Event will again be held at Camden Yards Sports Complex. The Dew Tour is made up of five major events that take place over the course of five months, June through October, and features skateboarding (park and vert), BMX (park, vert and dirt) and freestyle motocross competition.
