The Baltimore Orioles and OriolesREACH will host Buses for Baseball, a program created to give youth in need an opportunity to attend a Major League Baseball game, tomorrow, June 17 at Oriole Park. The Buses for Baseball program will allow youth battling cancer from the Belanger Federico Foundation to visit Oriole Park for a unique evening that will include free game tickets, concession vouchers, transportation to and from the park and a visit with Orioles players.
Orioles RHP MATT ALBERS, RHP CHAD BRADFORD, SS ALEX CINTRON, CF ADAM JONES, 3B MELVIN MORA, LHP GARRETT OLSON and 2B BRIAN ROBERTS will welcome youth, distribute give-away items and sign autographs during their visit.
The Buses for Baseball program is a Major League Baseball Player's Association initiative and has provided more than 7,000 youth in need the opportunity to watch a Major League game. The Belanger Federico Foundation works to improve the quality of pediatric cancer care and is guided by the slogan 'Cancer Fears Me.' The foundation was founded in memory of former Orioles shortstop Mark Belanger, who died of lung cancer.
