ORIOLES PLACE RHP MATT ALBERS ON DISABLED LIST
The Orioles today announced that they have placed RHP MATT ALBERS on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation and activated RHP FERNANDO CABRERA from his rehabilitation assignment at Triple-A Norfolk.
Cabrera, 26, had an 0.69 ERA (13.0IP, 11H, 1ER) with 13 strikeouts and .229 opponents' average in 11 games in a rehabilitation assignment at Triple-A Norfolk. He began the season on the Orioles' 15-day disabled list after undergoing offseason surgery on his right elbow.

Overall, he is 6-6 with a 4.94 ERA (140.1IP, 77ER) in 103 major league games in parts of four seasons for the Cleveland Indians and Orioles.
Albers, 25, left his start last night against the Chicago Cubs after 1/3 inning due to right shoulder discomfort. He is 3-3 with a 3.49 ERA (49.0IP, 19ER) in 28 games for the Orioles this season
