Milledge to return this weekend
Center fielder Lastings Milledge, on the disabled list since June 28 due to a right groin strain, is expected to join the Nationals in Los Angeles on Friday. Milledge has missed 19 games due to the injury, but he'll be back in the starting line-up and in center when he returns.
Milledge played three games for Triple-A Columbus, going 1-12. Prior to landing on the DL, he was batting .245 with seven home runs and 32 RBI in 80 games.
Hot-hitting Willie Harris will move to left-field and remain in the lead-off spot. Harris has tallied at least two hits in each of last five games and is hitting .469 (15-32), with two doubles, triple, three home runs and nine RBI in his last eight games. Over the last 25 contests, Harris is hitting at a .375 (30-for-80) clip with five homers, 15 RBI, and 15 runs.
