Nationals Announce Second Half Ticket Packages & Promotions
The Washington Nationals today announced additional ticket packages and promotions for the remainder of the 2008 season at Nationals Park. As part of the new "Nats Weekender" package, fans who purchase tickets for five (5) of the 12 remaining weekend games will receive a complimentary PNC Diamond Club ticket* for the Nationals season finale on Thursday, September 25 against the Florida Marlins at 7:10pm. Tickets for this package are available in the RF Mezzanine (Sections 223 through 239), LF/RF Box (Sections 104 through 106 and 140 through 143) or LF/RF Corners (Sections 107 through 109 and 135 through 137). The "Nats Weekender" is limited to four tickets per purchase and available through August 14. "Nats Weekender" packages may be purchased at nationals.com or by calling 202-675-NATS (6287).
The Nationals introduced the "Miller Lite Party Night" promotion for their remaining Friday home games, August 1, 15 and 29 and September 19. Fans may purchase a Scoreboard Pavilion ticket (Sections 240 through 243) which includes a voucher for one complimentary drink (soda, water or beer) for $25, normally a $34 value. Vouchers may only be redeemed at the Miller Lite Scoreboard Walk Bar. Prior to these games, fans may enjoy live music and giveaways at the Miller Lite Scoreboard Walk. The team will also continue Friday Night Fireworks and Saturday Night Movies following all Friday and Saturday evening games that end prior to 10:50pm.
Additionally, the Nationals have added three giveaways to the team's promotional schedule. Sunday, August 3, when the Nationals face the Cincinnati Reds at 1:35pm, the first 10,000 kids 12 and under will receive a Panda Webkinz courtesy of MASN. The first 20,000 fans to enter Nationals Park on Friday, September 19th will receive a Nationals Camouflage Floppy Hat. Sunday, September 21st, the first 10,000 kids 12 and under will receive a Nationals Kids Backpack courtesy of Smithfield. The team faces the San Diego Padres Friday at 7:35pm and Sunday at 1:35pm.
Individual game tickets may be purchased by calling 888-632-NATS (6287) or via nationals.com. The Nationals Park Box Office is located at the Center Field Plaza entrance gate, at the corner of Half and N Streets, S.E. Nationals Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 10:00am until 5:00pm on non-game days. The Box Office opens at 9:00am for all day games and at 10:00am for all evening games.
