O's activate Jamie Walker, option Radhames Liz to Norfolk
The Orioles today announced that they have activated LHP JAMIE WALKER from the 15-day disabled list and optioned RHP RADHAMES LIZ to Triple-A Norfolk.
Walker, 36, had been on the disabled list since June 26 with left elbow inflammation. He was 1-0 with a 4.98 ERA in 37 games before being sidelined.
Liz, 24, was 4-3 with a 7.47 ERA in 10 starts for the Orioles after being recalled from Norfolk on June 2.
