Welcome to Emilio Bonifacio!

Bonifacio is a young player who is projected as a leadoff man and can be an every day second baseman.
Arizona also considered him for outfield work, which shows his versatility.
Switch hitting capability also makes him very coveted in the batting order; and the fact that he can steal bases with the best of them will help put pressure on opposing teams' pitchers and open up the offense for the Nats.
Lets watch to see how Emilio does in Columbus, and then look forward to a call up soon to the Nats. With Zimmerman, Guzman, Bonifacio and Johnson/Young, the infield looks solid; and with Flores as the catcher and Dukes, Milledge and Kearns in the outfield, that looks pretty good too.
