Nats Skipper Manny Acta spent part of his morning on Wednesday packing and delivering meals along with Food and Friends, a partner of the Capitol Area Food Bank to some local folks in need of it.
Manny said his community service commitment is the easiest part of his job, and he added that no one can second guess him about it!

Nats GM Jim Bowden was sporting a Manny Ramirez wig under a Red Nationals hat during batting practice yesterday.
The Nationals GM has a soft spot for the Dodgers' slugger who just happens to be one of the greatest hitters in the game.
Tim Redding has faced Manny seven times over his career, and he's held him to a single; but Redding respects the future Hall of Famer.
"I've heard guys say you'd want him on your team, no one's a better teammate," Redding told me earlier this week. "But when you face him, it's war and you want to be the winner."
