Through three innings, Double-A Bowie pitcher Chris Tillman has struck out eight batters and allowed only one hit - though it was a home run.

Satyr3206 - Weiters was #2 on Baseball America's hotsheet. That's done on a weekly basis. Who was first last week? A guy I would like to see in the Orioles lineup next year and yes he's in the Angels organization. Brandon Wood. In their mid-season re-ranking Weiters was third behind Clayton Kershaw(just recalled) and and David Price. Chances are Price gets recalled in August also which puts Weiters in a great position to be their player of the year.
Great to see Tillman throw so well and return somewhat to earlier season form.

Montanez pulled from the game and called up to replace Jones, who as I predicted is going on the DL and will be out for the season. Wieters just homered and Tillman is out after 6 allowing 2 ER 4 H 11 K's.
