Lineup change and more D-Cab
Alex Cintron came down with food poisoning, so forget about Brian Roberts getting the night off. He's batting leadoff and playing second base, and center fielder Lou Montanez drops down to eighth.
As I wrote earlier, the MRI on Daniel Cabrera's right elbow didn't reveal any structural damage, but he's complaining of some discomfort in his upper forearm area, near the elbow. He might have a light sideline session on Friday and, if all goes well, pitch on Sunday. Another option is skipping his turn in the rotation.
Manager Dave Trembley expects to activate Adam Jones and George Sherrill on Sept. 1, and recall Kam Mickolio on Sept. 2.
Wow, again, another shock. Guess we won't see Lou lead off anymore. Hope he gets a chance for it though.
Oh now, Daniel complains. Funny, he didn't complain when he was talking to the media a few days ago.
I vote to skip him and put Bergesen in his slot.
