Matusz not the only one
Brian Matusz may not be the only draft pick the Orioles sign today.
Scouting director Joe Jordan told me moments ago the O's are still negotiating with 18th round pick, 6-7 LHP Keith Landers from a Massachusetts high school. They are also still talking with 44th round pick, RHP Kevin Brady from Gaithersburg High School. Brady has a scholarship offer from Clemson if he opts to go to college, but Jordan sounded confident that he could get him signed before tonight's deadline.
If I were Brady, I'd head to Clemson. Three years at a good school can do wonders for your pro career.
