More Bowie honors
Three members of the Double-A Bowie roster have made the postseason Eastern League All-Star team: Outfielders Lou Montanez and Nolan Reimold, and pitcher Brad Bergesen.
Montanez still qualifies for the Triple Crown, and you better believe he's checking the stats every day.
Reimold has played a league-high 129 games, which might be his most important stat, given his past injuries. The Orioles wanted to keep him on the field this season, and he's done it. He's batting .279 wiith 28 doubles, three triples, 19 homers, 74 RBIs, 78 runs scored and 222 total bases.
Bergesen is 15-4 with a 3.00 ERA and the leading candidate to be named the organization's minor league Pitcher of the Year.

Roch,
Do you know the thinking behind Reimold being in right field? It would seem to me that he should play in left.

He's done both. It would make more sense for him to get most of his time in left, for sure, but at this stage of his career, it's not a bad idea to get him comfortable in more than one spot. - Roch
I was at the Keys game tonight. Billy Rowell hit a walkoff home run in the bottom of the tenth. It was originally ruled in play. I think he might have been thrown out at second if that was the case. The ump then changed it to a home run. Brandon Erbe pitched a great game too, with several strikeouts. Ryan Rodriguez is a good left hander out of the bullpen who throws side-arm.
Finally my man gets his shot tonight at Norfolk. Strike out machine Romero. If he goes 9 he strikes out 10 or more. Strange move.In 38 games with Bowie all in relief. Strange move. If he doesen't get hammered he will [ FOR SURE ] strike out more then innings pitched. Dont blow it Felix . Dont make me look bad. I've been tauting you for 2 years. Why is he starting ? He's not a starter!
How could they leave off Chris Tillman?
