Nats to promote Casto and Gonzalez when rosters expand
Manager Manny Acta said infielder/outfielder Kory Casto and shortstop Alberto Gonzalez would be added to the roster when they expand on Monday. Acta wouldn't say who else may be promoted.
Casto, who has been with the Nationals twice this season, hit .193 with one home run and 10 RBI in 49 games for Washington.
Gonzalez, currently on the disable list with a left hamstring strain, was acquired on July 31st from the Yankees. He got off to a great start; collecting six hits in 13 at bats before injuring his hamstring.
