Nothing new on Jones
I spoke with Orioles president Andy MacPhail about an hour ago, and he said the club hadn't received the results of the CT scan on Adam Jones' left ankle.
"That's not surprising," he said.
Here's why: Jones had a 1 p.m. appointment, pacific time, so it could be a while. And MacPhail conceded that he isn't certain the Orioles will be ready to make an announcement later today. He doesn't know how long it will take for the results to come back.
The wait continues.

OFahn - Is Weiters a maybe or a sure thing?
I found you! And in typical Hawaiian Time...a few days later than others. Glad to get my daily fix and love the new blog name!
Sit Jones. Sit him for as long as it takes. A rest is just what he needs. Let him think about what he's accomplished so far, and what he has to do to take it to the next level.
Just don't rush him back. The team isn't going anywhere this year, anyway.
Everybody is still pointing to 2010. If AMac makes the right moves and no more arms fall off, they should contend.
MASN needs something else over here - not just your blog. How about a message board at MASN? Maybe someone else to read. I feel like MASNSPORTS.com is your website.
What is the permalink for Roch's archive? This masn website is not user friendly.
I'll answer the Wieters question.
Baseball America has Wieters as the 2nd best prospect in all of baseball. He's hitting .371 right now. I saw him playing for Frederick this year and he looked like a man among boys.
So from my perspective, yeah, he's the real deal.

Has Trembley announced who the Tuesday starter is? A lot of people say it may be Waters. Is that a possibility?

I believe it's a strong possibility, unless Cormier starts and Waters joins the team in aa long relief role. Still waiting for word out of Anaheim. - Roch
Go out on a limb and predict an O's victory tonight. Angels just back from East Coast trip and hopefully will be tired, plus they were bushwhacked by Yankees in last two games. In addition it is the first game of the series. Two of three here(that's really a stretch) would be great!
