Just reading a recap of the minor league action last night and I'm seeing that Brandon Snyder was injured and removed during a collision at 1st base. He appears to have injured that surgically repaired left shoulder, but they say he should be ok. I was just wondering if you had any other news on the issue?

Good call on Kam. Miller time in September. 6'9" 255. That's a big dude. Glad to see Lou's hand has healed. Vegas is giving us a pretty good chance tonight so look for a win. Lou hit right handers better then left handers this year. Quiz about play by play guy Hunter coming.
I havr to do a little research.

By the way, it's pronounced Mick-uh-LIE-oh. Not Mick-OH-lee-OH.

This might help with the name .... for those of you old enough to recall the Beavis & Butthead series.... just remember the scenes when Beavis would eat too many sweets & turn into Cornholio... Metallica tshirt pulled up from behind over his head, just his face showing.. "Are you threatening me?" "I need teepee for my bunghole..."

As long as Mickolio is here, he is now known as Cornholio to me.

Jim Hunter. Not Catfish. Didn't a PGA pro [his name I forget] on national TV on a Sunday getting ready to put, then stopped and told Hunter to keep quiet. Hunter was near the green with a mic. and distracted the guy putting.
Since that, you'll see no more announcer close to the putting area. And that's the rest of the story. Bet I'm right.

Roch my friend i have had enough posting for 1 year.Unless guthrie pitches i will not put myself through any more torture watching our starters pitch 2, 3 or 4 innings in a game. I did some research for my last posting and while i knew it was bad before i actually complied this list, after looking at in on paper it is a disaster. Here are the oriole number 1 draft picks since 1997.

Jason Wirth
darnell Mcdonald
Rick Elder
Keith Reed
Joshua Cenate
Scott Rice
Brian Roberts
Beau Hale
Nelson Johnson
Chris Smith
Mike Fontenot
Bryan Bass
Adam Loewen
Nick
Wade Townsend
Brandon Snyder
Garrett Olson
Billy Rowell
Pedro Beato
Matt Weiters and Finally
Matuz
Roch out of 21 ist round picks we have 2 guys that are currently on this team and making solid contributions. The rest are all bust outs beside Weiters and Brian jury is still out.No organization in any sport can be expected to overcome this disaster. If the fans of this town think for 1 minute that this organization can overcome all of that waste by 2010 they are in for a rude awakening

Jake Arrieta's 6 innings of 2-hit, 7 K ball while earning the "W" against China looks pretty good. Of course since they don't show Olympic baseball on television as far as I can tell, most people probably missed it. (Terry Tiffee bats clean-up by the way). I was surprised no one mentioned it, especially as Phelps-mania subsides. Funny that Phelps isn't a big O's fan. Well, not really-- he grew up during the lost generation coinciding with the time period when the O's thought that a new stadium and a living memorial at SS would satisfy the masses (sadly, it did for many years).

Can't wait for the pitcher's duel tonight! Bring your gloves folks (although Buchholz could always no-hit us again). Go Birds- time to help the Rays!

Bye Bob! Don't let the door hit you on the way out! You are going to stop posting on blogs since you are no longer watching games right?
