Boller out for the season; Ravens sign Bouman
Kyle Boller might have played his final game in a Ravens jersey.
Boller was placed on injured reserve today, ending his season. He is in the last year of his contract with the team.
The Ravens' first-round pick in the 2003 draft injured his shoulder during the Baltimore's preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 16, and he hasn't played since.

Head coach John Harbaugh said that Boller had been receiving treatment for the injury, but it did not respond.
Boller was expected to compete for the starting quarterback job this preseason, but he struggled in the playing time he saw even before his injury.
The 27-year-old was never able to become the franchise quarterback that the Ravens had envisioned. He struggled with his decision making, and had trouble taking care of the football.
Harbaugh announced that the Ravens have signed veteran quarterback Todd Bouman to replace Boller on the roster. The 36-year-old Bouman was released by the Jaguars over the weekend, and has spent time with Minnesota, New Orleans, Green Bay and Jacksonville.
Bouman will back-up starter Joe Flacco for the immediate future, as Troy Smith is still recovering from a tonsil infection.
