B-Rob's B-Log: Brian on the last series in Yankee Stadium and the end of the baseball season
| | Comments (8)

After spending the morning packing and preparing for his offseason move to Arizona, Brian took a few minutes before the beginning of the final series of the final homestand to check in with his fans one last time before the end of the O's 2008 season.

For his final video blog of '08, Brian talked about playing the in the last series in Yankee Stadium, the success of his Baseball Bash, and another O's season coming to a close, before answering a few more questions from some ever-loyal Orioles fans.

Don't forget to keep submitting your questions for Brian throughout the offseason, as he'll still be blogging with us from Arizona! B-Rob will be trying his hand at writing and calling in for audio blogs as he did from the road this season, so keep your questions coming!

Hey Brian,
I'm just wondering how Adam (Jones) is doing? Hopefully he is learning some great things from you and the others while he is there!

Also how did the Fashion Show go?
(Pathfinders for Autism) I was going to go, but I didn't have enough money for a ticket. Hope a lot of people went out and supported it!!

Well thats all from Baltimore, see you on Opening Day!

Hey Brian,

I hope you are ok. I moved down on Sunday and you got hurt and I got scared. You are a really cool person and I want you to continue your work with the children's hospital and I really hope you stay with us until you retire. Will you eventually buy a house in Baltimore?

Hey Brian-

Here's one:
Do you mind being called "B-Rob" or does it strike you as a knock-off of "A-Rod"?

We were there yesterday and hope you're okay after getting hit.

We have to go be depressed until March.

Hi Brian, I'm going to be in withdrawal from the Orioles next week. I've really enjoyed watching you guys play, especially BRobb. I also want to point out how talented you are with the media appearances, and definitly should be something in your future when being a player is no longer an option. You are a natural. My question ; what will you be doing in the off season and is marriage in your future? Whatever you are doing , I wish you continued good health and happiness. Hopefully you will be on a winning team next year, wherever that may be. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. Jinny

Thanks for a great season. Not the way we'd like to see it end but I enjoyed it anyways. Watching you steal this season and making all those great defensive plays, collecting your 1,000th career hit exc. was awesome.

I remember watching Anita interview you during ST, thinking that was going to be the last time she'd interview you as a Bird, season flew by way too fast.

What do you plan on doing this off season? Any vacations?

Hope to see you back as a Bird next season, have a great off season.
