Orioles Host Fan Appreciation This Weekend
In thanks to fans for their support throughout the 2008 season, the Orioles will host a final series filled with fun and prizes during Fan Appreciation Weekend this Friday-Sunday, September 26-28, at Oriole Park.
Weekend activities include chances for fans to be randomly chosen to win prizes including 13-game, 29-game and full-season ticket plans for 2009; Southwest Airlines roundtrip airfare vouchers; MLB.TV Premium subscriptions for the 2009 regular MLB season and autographed Orioles memorabilia. Throughout the weekend, fans will also be chosen at random to win unique Orioles experiences including on-field and Orioles players visits, Fan of the Game contests, Steal the Bases contests, the popular 'Shirts of Our Backs' on-field and player visits, opportunities to take the field with Orioles players for the National Anthem and more.
Fans are encouraged to wear Orioles clothing and arrive at the ballpark early each day.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
Activities, Events and Prizes:
SOUTHWEST AIRLINES VOUCHER GIVEAWAY - Five fans will be randomly selected throughout the game to stand on the Orioles dugout and receive a pair of Southwest Airlines roundtrip airfare vouchers good for anywhere Southwest flies.
FAN OF THE GAME CONTEST - The Orioles will select a fan who demonstrates true Orioles spirit to be named Fan of the Game and win a 13-game season ticket plan for 2009 and free subscription to MLB.TV Premium.
FANS TAKE THE FIELD - Lucky fans will be selected to take the field with an Orioles player for the National Anthem.
FIREWORKS -Presented by Bank of America- All fans are invited to enjoy a post-game fireworks display.
ORIOLES REACH SILENT AUCTION - A silent auction will take place on the main concourse at Gate D through the sixth inning featuring sports memorabilia, collectibles and experience packages benefiting the Orioles Charitable Foundation.
SHIRTS OFF OUR BACKS - Fans will be randomly chosen to go on-field to receive the 'Shirt Off The Back' (a game worn and autographed jersey) of an Orioles player
STEAL THE BASES CONTEST - Two fans will be selected to race from the warning track to first or third base to win an autographed game-used base
STUDENT NIGHT -Presented by AT&T- Left Field Upper Reserve Tickets are $6 with valid student ID.
2008 ORIOLES TEAM PHOTO / 2009 SCHEDULE GIVEAWAY - The first 10,000 fans attending each game will receive a commemorative 2008 Orioles team photo and 2009 schedule at the gates of Oriole Park
