O's Activate LHP George Sherrill
The Orioles today announced that they have activated LHP GEORGE SHERRILL from the 15-day disabled list.
Sherrill was placed on the DL on August 19, retroactive to August 16, with inflammation of the left shoulder.
An All-Star in his first year with the Orioles, Sherrill is 3-5 with a 4.47 ERA (50.1IP, 25ER) with 31 saves in 53 games this season.
