Ravens-Texans game rescheduled for Monday
The NFL has announced that the Ravens-Texans game originally set for Sunday at 4:15 p.m ET will be rescheduled for Monday at 8:30 p.m ET because of the threat of Hurricane Ike.
Ike is supposed to hit the Houston area on Saturday, and the NFL made the switch to allow the area time to recover from the storm.
Instead of traveling to Houston on Saturday, as originally planned, the Ravens will likely arrive on Sunday.
The game will not be nationally televised, but will be aired on local CBS stations in the primary and secondary markets of the Ravens (Baltimore; Washington DC; Salisbury, MD; and Harrisburg, PA) and the Texans.

will the game be on direct tv?
Will it be on directv for us out of towners?

Rich & Andrew,
As far as I know, it will just be on CBS, but I'm not sure. I would check with DirecTV.
Here's the quote from the press release that was sent out:
"The Texans-Ravens Monday night game will be televised on local CBS stations in the primary and secondary markets of the Texans (Houston; Beaumont-Port Arthur, and Bryan, Texas) and the Ravens (Baltimore; Washington DC; Salisbury, MD; and Harrisburg, PA)."

Horray for the impromptu monday night game -- though I wish they would air it outside the Houston/Baltimore-DC CBS markets :(
Thanks for the update, Daniel.
I spent all morning on direct tv which I hate. It will be a game time decision on whether it will be on, at least for Iowa City, Iowa. I viewed nfl online games as well and they have not posted anything yet. My son starts right gaurd and I really want to find this game, somehow, someway, if anyone has any ideas, please respond to this. GO RAVENS!!!!!!
