Baltimore on the board first
Justin Bannan's interception and four defensive penalties by the Titans led to Matt Stover's 38-yard field goal, giving the Ravens a 3-0 lead mid-way through the first quarter.
The Ravens were unable to convert on a a 3rd and 11, but Chris Hope was called for an unsportsmanline conduct penalty after the play for hitting Mark Clayton in the facemask, and the Ravens kept the football.
If I'm a Titans fan, I'm not too pleased about that flag on Hope. Looked like Clayton and Derrick Mason were getting in some shots of their own as well.
The Ravens moved 46 yards on 11 plays on the drive, but 30 of those yards came on the Titans' penalties. This game has been pretty chippy so far, with both teams getting in some pushing and shoving after the whistle.
Chris Carr returned the ensuing kickoff to the Tennessee 48, and a horse-collar penalty on Corey Ivy gives the Titans great field position at the Ravens' 37.
