Browns looking to get healthy before divisional showdown with Ravens
| | Comments (0)

Sunday's battle between the Ravens and Browns is more than just a divisional rivalry. It's a chance for Cleveland to pull even with Baltimore and into a tie in second place in the AFC North.

In Week 3, the Ravens forced three turnovers and held the Browns to 169 yards in total offense in the dominant 28-10 victory.

Head coach Romeo Crennel said the focus this week is on the Ravens and not tight end Kellen Winslow. ''It's been five weeks since [we've] played [the Ravens] and they are a team that is evolving,'' Crennel said. ''We have to look at the tape, and we have to study these guys. We can't leave a stone unturned as we prepare for those guys because it's a huge game.

''It's in front of the home crowd and in the division, and it will say a lot about the division and what we can do in the division.''

Winslow returned to the team and began practicing after missing last week. Winslow was suspended for criticizing the team but had the suspension rescinded. He didn't play last Sunday because he didn't practice or travel with the team.

On the injury front, defensive back Mike Adams returned to practice after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. This is big for Cleveland because defensive back Sean Jones is nursing a knee injury. Jones missed four games while battling back from arthroscopic surgery on the same knee.

Defensive lineman Shaun Smith, who hasn't played in the last three games since he had surgery on his hand during the Browns bye week, will have the hand re-evaluated and will practice on Wednesday.

Due to participate on a limited basis are linebacker Shantee Orr (foot) and wide receiver Donte Stallworth (quad).

Those who won't practice are offensive lineman Ryan Tucker (knee), fullback Lawrence Vickers (ankle) and defensive lineman Corey Williams (shoulder).
