Linemen feeling the love
Offensive tackle Adam Terry was standing in front of his locker at Ravens' headquarters this afternoon, turned around, and saw about 10 media members waiting to talk to him.
"What, am I the only guy in here?" he joked.
Terry wasn't alone in the Ravens locker room, but with another physcial matchup coming this Sunday, this time against the Tennessee Titans, the emphasis is on the battle at the line of scrimmage.
That means the linemen are getting more attention than normal.
The undefeated Titans have run the ball more than any team in the NFL, and have a dominant defensive front-seven to boot. Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth made the Pro Bowl last year, and anchors the Titans' defense.
A lot of the Ravens mentioned how important it's going to be to contain Haynesworth, who has had a strong start to the season.
"He's a hard worker. He's a tall guy -- he's 6'6 and about 320 [pounds]," Ravens guard Marshall Yanda said. "He's an athlete. He moves really well for how big he is, and he gets a lot of push. So he's a guy we're really going to have to play well against."
Terry noted that the Ravens have faced a 3-4 defense a couple weeks in a row, and will have to adjust to the Titans' 4-3 alignment.
