Flacco acting like a vet off the field too
We've all seen the strides that Joe Flacco has made on the field.
Week 1 he was a rookie QB simply managing the offense and trying not to lose games. Now, he's only a rookie by title. He's proved his ability to make big plays happen, and he's doing it with his arm and even with his legs.
What's impressed me about Flacco other than his play on Sundays is how he deals with the media off the field.
Flacco is constantly being asked questions about his progression since the beginning of the season and about his calm demeanor. (Often times, the questions come from a writer or reporter from a national media outlet who hasn't heard Flacco's answers on the subject before.)
Every time he's asked about his composure or his progression to this point, Flacco will flash a little smile as if to say, "Haven't I told you guys this before?"
But instead of giving a sarcastic answer or avoiding the question, he'll give an honest, thoughtful response, even if he's said it ten times before.
The kid isn't playing like a rookie, and he isn't acting like one either.

I like Joe Flacco and I like this blog. I'm not a diehard Ravens fan, but I watch and this blog helps me keep up, thanks dan.
