Ravens starting to get healthy
| | Comments (0)

After having four starters miss practice yesterday, three returned and practiced in a limited fashion today.

Wide receiver Derrick Mason (shoulder), safety Ed Reed (neck) and cornerback Samari Rolle (shoulder) all were back on the field today, while offensive tackle Jared Gaither (shoulder) had to sit out for the second straight day.

Offensive tackle Willie Anderson (ankle), defensive tackle Lamar Divens (shoulder) and offensive guard David Hale (thigh) also were limited today.

Reserve tight end Daniel Wilcox (thigh) and safety Tom Zbikowski (thumb/thigh) were upgraded to full participation.

The Ravens also officially announced their signing of offensive tackle Chad Slaughter today. They released linebacker Robert McCune to make space for Slaughter on the roster.

For the second straight day, Eagles running back Brian Westbrook (knee/ankle) missed practice. He has played despite not practicing leading up to a game a few times this season, so it's unclear how severe his injuries really are, and how much the Eagles are trying to let him get a few days to rest and recover.
