Third baseman Melvin Mora (hamstring) and pitcher Alfredo Simon (elbow) have officially been placed on the 15-day disabled list.
Relievers Matt Albers and Radhames Liz have joined the team in Texas.
If you're keeping score at home, that's 13 pitchers and three bench players.

Thanks for explaining the options deal yesterday, I appreciate it. Does that mean The O's can ship Albers back and forth as much as they want this season?

Well at least they got that much done to give Trembley some extra beef in the bullpen. The next drama comes Monday.You can't complain about a lack of drama this year, they may set a record on roster moves. Maybe 20 on pitching alone.I've lost track already.
Anyone want to set an over and under on runs tonight? I say 11.
I hope Liz makes a good impression and sticks up here along with Albers. I would love to get rid of Bass and Eaton, although I do understand their place on the team......for now.
Roch, Schmuck says he doesn't think Albers actually used an option up because he wasn't down long enough to use it. Apparently you need to be down for a certain number of days before it counts as being optioned. Any idea as to what that number is?

What are the odds that Bass gets put on waviers and BB gets the rotation spot on Monday?

They could go in a couple of directions. Could be Waters. Could be Bass. They could wait until Tuesday and let Hendrickson pitch Monday on normal rest. - Roch
