Anticipating an exciting road trip

On a warm Wednesday afternoon at Camden Yards, Brian Roberts sat down to film the latest post for his video blog on MASNsports.com.
From the collective anticipation to check out the new Yankee Stadium to his weekly thoughts on American Idol, Brian takes you though what's new with him and the rest of the O's these days.
Of course, he took the time to answer a few fan questions too, letting Steve, Becky and Travis know the other sports he played growing up, how the players feel about rain delays and what special talents he has.
Don't forget to submit your questions for Brian using the comment box below, and he might answer yours in his next post!

Thanks for answering my question!
Brian,
My friend and I were discussing when everyone showed up to the ballpark?
And after you guys are done with watching videos and aborbing any information you wanted to get for the day, do you or any of the guys go out and wonder around town. (This came up because one of our friend's mom said Jeremy, or someone who looked exactly like him, was in her store in Towson the other day.)
Thanks again, and good luck in Kansas City and New York, Bring Baltimore some wins home!
Becky, from Lutherville, but in class
What are your other favorite TV shows to watch besides American Idol?
-Rebecca
Brian, When can I buy your dad's baseball book? and your dvds on base stealing?
Show the guys the vedio. Google the mike lowell dance off 2 parts
4 dancers very funny stuff. It was for Lowell's cancer charity. Your buddy is as funny as Pap, almost. Thanks
Hi Brian
How does the negative writings from the press affect your game play , if it does at all? Also congratulations on your recent marriage! Love and Blessings to you both
Whoah, Brian blogs; this is a well-kept secret right now, but if word gets out to the major O's fans websites then this thing will definitely be flooded.
Anyway, Brian, I'd like to know if the players know of the tremendous amount of talent coming up from the minor league system?
Thanks so much.
When you transferred from North Carolina after your junior season, what made you choose South Carolina? Did you and your father have a relationship with Roy Tanner?
hey Brian my question is who do you wnt to win idol this year and what others shows do you watch?
thanks, Jessica
Hey Brian,
First off, I'd just like to put it out there that you're amazing. Great guy, great ball player. Keep it up.
My question is, do you have a routine you do daily? Are you like one of those guys that has to do the exact same thing, eat the exact same food, every day? Or do you really not care about that kind of superstitious stuff?
Thanks so much.
Keep it up, Brian, we all love you. :)
Hey Brian,
I appreciate your contributions to the Orioles ... however, I would like to question your commitment and all around effort. I understand that it is frustrating to play at your top level when times are tough (even though the team potential is there) ... but the least you can do for your fans is give 100% running down the 1st base line and running out dropped 3rd strikes.
Please tell me what I should say to my son and my players (I'm a coach) when they see that you are not hussling the entire game ...
Brian,
First off, Brian how can you come to the "yard" and games in general, knowing that you have slim chances these days of winning the game? I ask this because we all know the pitching is not that good and the so call "Ace" looks like a "joker". I really want to know how you feel because it is no mystery here..good pitching equal good quality wins..and we don't have it..sometimes the hitters don't hit but more often the pitchers don't pitch well....Tell us what you think?
Hey Brian,
Anyone ever tell you that you look like the the guy Chris who just won American Idol?
Anyways...keep up the good work.
Brian,
Have you had to change your lifestyle in any way due to the recession? How has the recession impacted major league baseball players (if at all)?
