As Interleague Play starts to wind down...
With the Nationals preparing for a Battle of the Beltways matchup against the Orioles, Manny Acta sat down with Pete McElroy for his latest MASNsports.com video blog.
The Nats' skipper discussed his team's strong performance in Interleague Play against the difficult American League East, their improved defensive effort, and how his young pitching staff continues to make strides.
Manny also touched on the strategy behind managing those hurlers as they approach their career high in innings, and he gave an update on Matt Chico's rehab from Tommy John surgery.
As always, in addition to talking with Pete about the Nats in English, Manny sat down with Angel Castillo, an announcer for the Spanish Béisbol Network, to discuss his squad in Spanish.
