Catcher Matt Wieters hit his first major league home run, drove in his first two runs, got his first Camden Yards curtain call and took a shaving cream pie in the face during his post-game interview with MASN's Amber Theoharis.

Robert Andino sprinted out of the dugout to deliver it. I know fans have wondered why he's usually is the one handling that responsibility, given his relative inexperience and his modest stature in the clubhouse. Andino is a speed guy. The veterans don't want a slow player trying to sneak up on their victim.

I love how Amber just continues with the interview after he gets slammed...Matt Wieters is so good he can conduct a post game interview while digging shaving cream out of his ear!
I think it would take me by surprise too if I was doing an interview with Amber.

If they would use whip cream, instead of shaving cream, it would be a lot easier. I wouldn't run from that, but that's just me.
