Zimm, Nives give nats 2-0 lead
| | Comments (0)

Ryan Zimmerman jumped on Ricky Nolasco's first pitch of the second inning, a 91-MPH fastball, and crushed it to left for his 13th homer of the season.

Last year, Zimmerman hit 14 all season. It was his 44th RBI. Zimm had only 51 in 106 games in 2008.

Josh Willingham continued to swing a hit bat, hitting a ground-rule double to deep center, his sixth in his last eighth games.

Willingham would score on Wil Nieves' infield single to put the Nats up 2-0.
