Dunn hits 300th homer
Adam Dunn slammed his 300th career home run, a solo shot that came within four rows of the concourse in right field.
Dunn hit a 2-2 fastball from rookie right-hander Tommy Hanson to cut the Braves lead to 3-1 in the seventh.
The run allowed by Hanson snapped his 26-inning scoreless streak, which is a Braves rookie record.
Dunn is now one of 13 members of the 300 homer club to accomplish the feat before the age of 30. He joins 122 other members of the 300 club.
Dunn is also one of five players in the history of baseball that have hit 300 home run in fewer than 4,200 at bats. He did it in 4,146.
Only Babe Ruth (3,830), Mark McGwire (3,837), Ralph Kiner (3,883) and Harmon Killebrew (3,928) did it in few at bats.
