Dunn: Tired of coming up short
Once again, the Nationals scored enough runs to win, but the pitching failed and they lost 9-8.
This marks the 21st game in which they have scored six or more runs. The problem is that they have lost 12 of them.
After the game, left fielder Adam Dunn, who hit his 21st home run of the season, leaving him one shy of 300 for his career, is tired of talking about moral victories.

Prior to the game, manager Manny Acta held a team meeting, telling his team they are better than their most recent road trip, where they went 1-5.
One thing Acta preached was hitting with runners in scoring position. Friday night, Washington was 4-14 with RISP.

I think we need to trade to get upgrades on some position like 2nd basemen i would at least like to see a trade for a major league 2nd basemen, left fielder with some speed and Starting pitching, i am tired of see this team loose what do you think?
I think we found our centerfielder of the future wouldnt you say?

Morgan should be here for a while. I thinnk there will be quite a few trades by the end of the month. Willingham, Dunn, Johnson, Guzman, Kearns (if they can get anyone to eat the contract) are all available. Pete
