Huff and Hernandez lead O's past Angels, 6-4
Aubrey Huff hit a three-run homer to back the solid pitching of David Hernandez as the Orioles beat the LA Angels 6-4 Friday night. The Birds even the four-game series at a win each.
Luke Scott ripped a two-run double in the first inning and in the third Huff's three-run shot made it a 5-0 game. It was his 11th homer of the year and third, three-run shot.
A Nick Markakis RBI double in the 4th made it a 6-0 O's lead.

The Angels rallied with one in the 4th and a Kendry Morales two-run homer in the 6th cut the lead to 6-3. The Angels got one off Jim Johnson in the 8th to cut the lead to 6-4.
Hernandez picked up his second Major League win, pitching 6 2/3 innings. He gave up three runs on six hits in the longest outing of his brief big league career. Hernandez is now 2-2, 4.15.
Losing pitcher Ervin Santana gave up six runs over five frames. He falls to 1-4 and has allowed six or more runs in four of his seven starts.
George Sherrill pitched a scoreless ninth and picked up his 18th save.
The O's picked up their first win of the year after three losses vs. LA. They snapped a four-game road losing streak and improved to 6-14 vs. AL West opponents.

Great game for David!! Little concerned about JJ! He doesnt look like the same pitcher the last 2 games. I think trembley was a little puzzled to in the 8th inning.. Seen talking to Kranitz during the inning. Great game though!!!
