Jones is an All-Star
Adam Jones has been selected to play for the American League team in the All-Star game.
It's Jones' first selection to the squad. He is batting .307-12-46 on the season. Jones is the first Oriole outfielder selected since Melvin Mora played in the 2003 game.
It's the fourth year in a row the O's will have just one player on the AL squad.

Next year I think Bergey, Jones,Weiters, and Markakis go.
I think trembley was recommending sherrill or markakis! Even winning managers dont agree with his views!
Sorry, but I do not think AJ is the O's All Star. If the O's are only sending one player it should be HUFF. Huff is having a great season.
After last night i can no longer say Markakis and Roberts deserve to be there.
