Jones says he's fine
Adam Jones said "yes" when asked if he could play today.
Dave Trembley said he would not start Jones today because he is still sore.
But Jones said "nothing" when asked today what is hurting.
"If it was up to me, I'd be playing," Jones said.
Jones banged his head and neck into the center field wall in his effort to catch a Kevin Youkilis two-run homer in the first inning last night. Jones did catch the ball, but his glove came off his hand and fell over the wall.
"I'm fine, I could play if I needed to play. I'm sore, but I'm sore every morning," Jones said.
Jones said that was the second time he hit an outfield wall that hard. The first was in Triple-A with Tacoma in a game one time.
"I'll be in there today," Jones insisted with reporters about today's game.
Not sure how he knows that, but it's clear that Adam Jones is ready to play after that collision last night.
