Rude welcome
Welcome to the Nationals Mr. Burnett, you have now been cursed like the rest of the bullpen.
Making his debut for Washington, Burnett gave up a home run to Cody Ross, in the seventh, tying the game after the Nationals just took the 3-2 lead in the top of the inning.
Burnett hung a 3-2 changeup that Ross sent over the wall in left-center for the solo shot, his 14th of the season.
Jordan Zimmermann, two runs in six innings, will settle for yet another no-decision.

Ross's career OPS IS .171 points higher off lefties than it is righties.

Me either. Why Tavarez wasn't brought in there surprised me. Ross is 0-6 with 5 K life time off him. Obviously no confidence in Colome and my guess is Clippard wasn't avaliable after throwing 22 pitches Tuesday night. Pete
