Zimmerman's throwing woes continue
Third baseman Ryan Zimmerman's throwing problems continue as he made another error in the first inning today.
It's Zimmerman's third error, third throwing, in the last eight innings against the Marlins. He made two last night. He was originally charged with a fourth E, but it has since been changed.
Today's gaffe came when speedy Emilio Bonifacio hit a sharp grounder to Zimm and instead of planting his feet, he threw a one-hopper that skipped by Nick Johnson at first.
Zimmerman has now made 12 errors on the season, nine throwing the ball.
It appears that he thinks too much instead of just playing catch with Johnson over at first.
Today's E didn't hurt Jordan Zimmermann as catcher Wil Nieves gunned down Bonifacio trying to steal third.
