Dukes will play winter ball; Wilkie in AFL
Right fielder Elijah Dukes will play ball this winter for the Licey Tigers in the Dominican Winter League.
This will mark the second straight season Dukes will look to improve his game by playing for the Tigers.
Also, the Nationals have announced that right-hander Josh Wilkie will participate in the Arizona Fall League.
Wilkie, who had a 2.42 ERA in 50 games between Syracuse and Harrisburg, will join SS Daniel Espinosa, 1B Chris Marrero, RHP Jeff Mandel, C Derek Norris, RHP Stephen Strasburg and RHP Drew Storen.
