Four Ravens starters sit
In addition to LB/DE Terrell Suggs, who isn't likely to play on Sunday against the Steelers because of a knee sprain, the Ravens had three other starters miss practice today.
C Matt Birk (neck), LB Ray Lewis (foot) and S Ed Reed (foot) all were sidelined today, as was TE L.J. Smith (illness).
Lewis said today that he got his foot caught between two players last Sunday against the Colts but says he should be just fine.
TE Todd Heap (chest) and DT Haloti Ngata (ankle) both were limited in practice today, while LB Jarret Johnson (shoulder) fully participated.
For the Steelers, QB Charlie Batch (wrist), LB James Farrior (not injury related), G Chris Kemoeatu (knee), S Troy Polamalu (knee) and WR Hines Ward (not injury related) all did not participate in today's practice.
Pittsburgh will likely be without Polamalu on Sunday; Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said yesterday that the Pro Bowl safety is "questionable at best" for this weekend's game at M&T Bank Stadium.
DE Travis Kirschke (calf) was limited in practice today, while QB Ben Roethlisberger (head) participated in full.
Roethlisberger suffered a concussion against the Chiefs last Sunday but Tomlin has said that his QB has been cleared to play against the Ravens.
