Quick Update from Riggleman
I checked in today with Nationals interim manager Jim Riggleman, who expects the talks with the Nats to heat up as soon as the World Series concludes (which could be tonight!).

In the interview, Jim talks about the progress of Stephen Strasburg and Drew Storen in the AFL and their placement in the Rising Stars game November 7th.
Riggleman also lets fans in on how the Nats players are doing in the offseason, including an update on the recovery of injured pitcher Jordan Zimmermann.
Finally, I asked Jim what he thinks the potential of the Nats offense is from day one in April and if he gets the managerial job on permanent basis, what he wants to implement at spring training 2010. Listen for Jim's take on these questions and more in the audio interview below.

This is really great stuff. Way to keep up with the personnel. I like Jim Riggleman more and more every day. Hope he gets the job.
I second that. I've been enjoying all of the updates here this offseason. Thanks.
Thanks for the update with Riggleman! He is a class act and deserves a chance to see what he can do with the ballclub!
