2010 Promotions include Zimmerman and Morgan Bobbleheads
Let's just start with the important stuff.
Go ahead and mark off June 19, July 31 and August 28th as can't-miss games for 2010. Those will be the three Bobblehead giveaways featuring Ryan Zimmerman, Nyjer Morgan and a "fan choice" respectively.
On Thursday, the Nationals announced an entire slate of promotional giveaways and special discounts for the 2010 season. In addition the popular bobblehead giveaways, the Nationals will also have six T-Shirt Tuesdays. Throughout the season, they will give away hats, magnets, coolers, water bottles, helmets, travel mugs, backpacks, a beer pitcher set, a back to school supply kit and a beanie.
The Nationals will also host Jackie Robinson Day, Education Day, Scout Days, Mother's Day, Youth Baseball and Softball Day, Father's Day, Black Heritage Day, Camp Day, Roberto Clemente Day and Hispanic Heritage Night.
They will also ask for your help in collecting items for a book drive, a food drive, a baseball equipment drive, a Christmas in July toy drive, a back-to-school drive and two blood drives.
Individual tickets for the new season will go on sale on March 2nd at 10 a.m.
As for special discounts, fans can enjoy them almost every day of the week with College Super Saver, Harris Teeter Vic Card Tuesdays, Washington Post Wednesdays, Miller Lite Party Night and Sunday Family Fun Packs. Discounts are also available for senior citizens, government employees, active members of the military and college students.
There will be six Business Professional Days and two Ladies Night events during the season, as well as a return of the popular Baseball 101 for women on June 19.

Nice schedule! Great to have Father's Day at the park, and maybe I can talk my wife into baseball on Mother's Day!
When are we going to have a Babe Ruth Day? The man is ignored and his number (3( should be retired like Robinson's 42. Selig does not have the back bone! Clemente's #21, is being considered. Where would anyone be in baseball without the Babe. Let the Nationals take the lead and retire his #3. Maybe the rest of baseball would fall in line.
