Aubrey alert
Anybody know what happened to the hour that I lost this morning? I'm searching for it like a contact lense.
I had the joyous task of checking on Michael Aubrey's groin a few minutes ago.
Still think I have the best job in the world?
Aubrey said the area "tightened up" as he left the batter's box after lining a single in his first at-bat in yesterday's game in Tampa. He's day-to-day with the injury.
"It didn't feel right," he said.
It doesn't feel much better this morning.
"It's there. I'll just have to keep an eye on it," he said.
"I'm not sure what the course of action's going to be as far as the next step."
Whatever the step is, I'd be sure to tread lightly.
Aubrey already was catching up to the other hitters after undergoing a procedure that required stitches in his back. Now he's sidelined again.
"It's extremely frustrating," he said, "but it's something to work through and make yourself better because of it."

Well you are the groin expert then....sounds like Aubrey is having a tough ST for sure...hopefully he will be fine in a day or so...yeah that hour zapped me too....I did not get up till 7:30....have not slept that late in forever...are you going to try and cover both games since 1 is at 10am??
Good to know he's not out of options. He'll be a valuable member of the Tides and a great candidate for an injury replacement.
This is Aubrey! An injury. Ask Cleveland. It's a shame but this is his history. bms you are right valuable member of tides. I don't know about an injury replacement when he is always injured.
