Blood Drive This Weekend (Updated)

Don't forget, the Nats will host a blood drive on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Nationals Park. All blood donors will receive two tickets to a future Nationals game, a limited edition Build-A-Bear Workshop bloodhound and the opportunity to take an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Nationals Park. Inova Blood Donor Services supplies lifesaving blood and blood products to 15 different hospitals in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Donations help cancer and trauma patients, newborns and patients undergoing organ transplant. Up to three lives may be saved with each donation. Donors should park in Lot B, located on the corner of South Capitol and N Streets, SE and enter the ballpark through the Third Base Gate on South Capitol Street, SE. The Nationals and Inova Blood Donor Services will host a second blood drive at the ballpark on Saturday, August 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Update: Appointments to donate blood are required.
