The Washington Nationals selected 30 players on the third day of Major League Baseball's 2018 First-Year Player Draft. Nationals President of Baseball Operations & General Manager Mike Rizzo and Assistant General Manager & Vice President of Scouting Operations Kris Kline made the joint announcement.
Over the three days of the First-Year Player Draft, the Nationals selected a total of 40 players: 17 right-handed pitchers, six left-handed pitchers, five outfielders, eight infielders and four catchers. Of Washington's 40 selections, 33 came from the college ranks and seven from the high school ranks.
