Nationals Draft Pick Elijah Green Visits Nationals Ballpark
- The Nationals first pick in the 2022 MLB First-Year Player Draft, Elijah Green will be on site for batting practice and the game.
- He will be available to media in the dugout following batting practice and will make stops in the MASN and 106.7 The Fan FM broadcast booths during the game.

Harris Teeter Food Drive
- The Nationals and Harris Teeter encourage fans to donate non-perishable food items at the annual Harris Teeter Food Drive at Nationals Park on Saturday and Sunday.
- Volunteers will be stationed outside the Center Field Gate, and food collection will run from when gates open until the end of the 3rd inning. All donations benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.
- Fans who donate four or more non-perishable food items will receive two tickets to a future Nationals home game.
- The first 500 fans each day who donate four or more Harris Teeter brand canned goods will receive $5 in Nats Bucks.

- The DC Sports Hall of Fame will induct its Class of 2022 at Nationals Park in an on-field pregame ceremony.
- Members of the newly inducted class include: Len Elmore, Bob Geoghan, Mark Lerner, Mark “Too Sharp” Johnson, Alan Webb, Christy Winters Scott and the 2021 Washington Spirit as a Team of Distinction.
Baby Shark™ Day
- The cultural phenomenon Baby Shark™ comes to Nationals Park, reviving memorable moments from the team’s 2019 World Series championship run through fun and exciting experiences, featuring the song from the world’s most-viewed video in YouTube history.
- The first 8,000 kids (ages 12 & under) in attendance will run away with a Baby Shark™ Song Cube presented by the Pinkfong Company.
- The game features Baby Shark™ character appearances, photo stations, exclusive giveaway items and a special 2D animated music video featuring Nationals mascot Screech and Baby Shark cheering the team on.
On-Field Pregame Recognition

Security Procedures
- Fans can now enjoy expedited entry into Nationals Park with the implementation of CEIA OpenGate technology at all guest entrances.
- Fans no longer need to remove jackets or items from their pockets.
New Bag Policy
- As part of the new procedures, all bags larger than a clutch must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and may not be larger than 16 x 16 x 8 inches.
- Fans may bring a clutch (5” x 7” x ¾” or smaller) in addition to or instead of a clear bag.
- Fans with diaper or medical bags may use ADA/Family lanes at the Center Field and Home Plate gates.
- Binbox is available for fans whose bags do not comply with ballpark regulations.
- Backpacks are not allowed.
